Rotary Vane Pumps Pulse Dampers / High Frequency

Rotary vane Pumps need PulseDampers for high frequency transient peak removal. Vane Pumps generate very little normal pulsation, but as each vane of the pump cuts across the very end of the flow exit path there is an instant in which the vane of the pump has to try to compress a small amount of liquid being pumped. The result is that vane pumps produce transient pressure spikes that need pulsedampers. Both Waveguard "Ram-Jet", & Waveguard "Cer" are suitable pulsdampers for vane pumps, which types to use depends on your Vane characteristics.
